App Privacy Policy

For mobile games on the Google Play and Apple App Store

The publisher of the mobile game Orblings cares about the security and transparency of processing its users' personal data. This document describes the rules, purposes, and privacy protection measures we apply in our mobile games distributed through the official Google Play and Apple App Store platforms.

1. Data Controller and Contact

2. Types of Data Processed

Depending on your interaction with the Game and your hardware platform (Android / iOS), we process the following categories of data:

  • Authorization and Social Account Data:
    • Apple GameCenter: Unique player identifier (GameCenter Player ID) and profile nickname/alias.
    • Google Play Games: Unique Google user identifier, achievements, and progress statistics.
    • Anonymous Login (Guest Account): A randomly generated local and cloud session ID assigned to a given device, allowing the game state (Cloud Save) to be preserved without revealing your identity.
  • Hardware and Advertising Identifiers: Unique device keys (Ad ID / GAID for Android, IDFA for iOS) that enable traffic identification and ad personalization.
  • Device and Location Data: Device model, operating system version, time zone, system language, wireless network data, IP address, and approximate location (country and city).
  • Gameplay Progress and Statistics: Information about unlocked Orblings, camp (Home Camp) upgrades, purchased digital items, and logs of any game errors (crash reports).

3. Advertising and the AppLovin MAX SDK

Our games are free and funded mainly by non-intrusive ads. We use the AppLovin MAX SDK ad mediation system. The SDK integrates partner platforms to optimize ad delivery:

  • Google AdMob (Google LLC)
  • AppLovin Exchange (AppLovin Corp.)
  • Unity Ads (Unity Technologies)

These entities collect and process the advertising identifiers mentioned above (GAID/IDFA) for the purpose of profiling and delivering ads tailored to the recipient's interests, preventing fraud, and tracking campaign performance.

4. Consent Management Platform (CMP) and GDPR

Travelers from European Union countries and the European Economic Area (EEA) are guaranteed the full right to decide about their privacy under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Before gameplay starts, a Consent Management Platform (CMP) tool is displayed on the start screen. Through it, the user can grant, refuse, or precisely configure consent to the processing of advertising data by our partners. This choice can be changed at any time directly in the game settings menu.

5. Legal Bases and Purposes of Processing

Processing takes place solely on the following bases:

  • Performance of a Contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): Maintaining cloud servers, saving game state, syncing across devices.
  • User Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): Targeting and personalizing ads through the CMP system.
  • Legitimate Interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): Performance optimization, technical error analysis, protecting the game against fraud.

6. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA)

At any time you have the right to access your data, correct it, restrict its processing, request its deletion (the "right to be forgotten"), and lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office).

You can delete your account yourself within the app's settings. We do not perform account deletion via support. Deleting your account removes all connections to your personal data, leaving only the data necessary for the app to continue working.
